Fresh Leadership. Bold Direction.
Lasting Impact.

Under the new leadership, HAMIC is positioned to become a vital community resource, addressing the interconnected issues of homelessness, addiction, mental health, and criminal justice reentry through comprehensive, evidence-based, and innovative services.

Shaping the Next Generation of ReEntry for the HAMIC Population

Individuals in reentry face the highest risk of overdose or even death within the first 48 hours of release, with this vulnerability extending for up to two weeks as they reenter into the community. This risk is especially pronounced among those using opioids.

Unlocking Potential, One Step at a Time

From one-on-one case management sessions to group workshops and skill-building activities, our programs are designed to foster personal growth, enhance employability, and promote overall well-being.

Alcohol & Drug Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Refers to structured, non-residential treatment services for individuals dealing with substance use disorders. These programs provide flexible treatment options that allow individuals to receive therapy and support while continuing to live at home and maintain their daily responsibilities, such as work or school.

Therapeutic Environment

Our facilities provide a structured environment that includes various forms of therapy, such as individual counseling, group therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based practices.

Comprehensive Treatment Plans

Personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual. These plans may include medical care, psychiatric services, detoxification, life skills training, and aftercare planning to support long-term recovery.

Transitional Housing

Refers to emergency or temporary, supportive housing designed to assist individuals transitioning from incarceration or residential treatment back into the community. This type of housing provides a stable and structured environment where individuals can receive the necessary support and resources to reintegrate successfully into society. This coupled with the required treatment is a crucial component of the re-entry process, aimed at reducing recidivism.

Building Blocks for Independence

By providing independent living support, we can empower individuals with tailored tools, resources, and assistance to thrive outside the conventional workforce, fostering self-sufficiency and promoting well-being in alignment with their specific strengths and needs. Building Blocks for Independence goes beyond skill acquisition; it fosters resiliency, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
