Shop Hand to Handyperson Bootcamp
From the Ground Up — Train Today, Work Tomorrow.
At Tradesmen Academy, we’re developing a hands-on training program designed for individuals with little to no experience who are ready to start a career in the skilled trades. Beginning as a Shop Hand, participants will build foundational skills in construction, tools, safety, and workplace readiness — with a pathway toward becoming a Handyperson and accessing union apprenticeship opportunities across various trades.
This track is a candidate for the Reintegrated Work Program, offering an 80-hour internship with a local employer group, combined with Cal-OSHA Safety Certification to ensure jobsite readiness and long-term career development.
